THE FUTURE IS OFF WHITE

Set to the left: CHEAP, Everything under $50. Almost everything under $20.
Set to the right: EXPENSIVE version. Don't even look at the prices.

If you have seen the Spring 2010 runway shows you will have noticed that a lot of designers pulled some futuristic inspiration. Instead of going with all bright white peices, I thought it would be a good idea to mix different hues of cream, tan, gold, and white for a bright and luxurious yet edgy feel.

The future is off white

I threw in some teal tights because let's face it.. most of us don't look good in white tights, and they bring an element of surprise. Any color would do, even black, but I'd stay towards the dark or bright colors and stay away from pastels that would clash.

Gold accessories are great for mixing in with warm bright whites.

I love the look of a form fitting, simple dress with a huge shawl or scarf in a similar but not exact color. It really adds depth to an outfit and makes it look more expensive.

With buying gold colored fashion jewelry try to find pieces that are brushed or matte instead of shiny, they'll look more realistic.

PS. I can wear white past labor day and so can you!
